Volleyball: Hamline wins Yellowjacket classic with a perfect record on Saturday
Posted on September 14, 2010 | No CommentsThe Piper volleyball team swept their opponents on Saturday in UW-Superior giving them the tournament crown. In four matches over the weekend the Pipers went 3-1 with their only loss being to the host Yellowjackets on Friday. On Saturday, the Pipers got their revenge as they took it to Superior in four sets. -
Pipers grab first two MIAC victories

Last Wednesday, the Pipers gained their first MIAC victory over the visiting Macalester Scots. Hamline won the match 3-0 with set scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-15. The Pipers started the match aggressively with a 7-1 lead. -
Tommies too much for Pipers
Posted on October 13, 2009 | No CommentsThe St. Thomas Tommies defeated the Piper volleyball team in three sets on Friday night, playing in their fifth MIAC match of the season. In the first game, St. Thomas had an early lead of 10-3. The Tommies managed to hold onto their lead for the entire match, with a final score of 25-13. -
Pipers fall short; still seek first MIAC victory
Posted on September 29, 2009 | No CommentsThe Hamline Women's Volleyball team lost to St Mary's 1-3 at home on Saturday, playing in their fourth MIAC match of the season. Hamline had a solid start with a 7-3 lead in their first set, with a three kills from first-year Danielle Bennett-Curry. When Hamline and St Mary's tied at 11-11, first-year Lauren Fisher had her own kill and gave the Pipers another lead. -
Pipers complete sweep of Holiday Inn-vitational
Posted on September 22, 2009 | No CommentsThe Piper women's volleyball team has started season with a loss in a MIAC conference game, but answered with two sweeps during in the Holiday Inn-vitational this past weekend. In the first day of the tournament, the Pipers set a blazing pace by completing a four-match, 12-set sweep at the tournament, finishing the day with 3-0 victories over Presentation and Bethany Lutheran. -
Cobbers sweep Hamline, dampen playoff hopes

After losing yet another MIAC game against No. 13 Concordia-Moorhead on Wednesday, Hamline's conference record dropped to 2-5. -
Pipers, MIAC own border war
Posted on October 14, 2008 | No CommentsThe Hamline volleyball team won three out of its four games at the annual IIAC-MIAC Border Battle Tournament this weekend in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Losing only to Buena Vista, they defeated Luther, Cornell and Dubuque, all of which are in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. -
Split send Hamline to 2-3 in MIAC

While starting off homecoming weekend with a strong win against Augsburg on Friday, the Pipers lost all three sets in the match against Carleton on Saturday. -
Piper volleyball drops two in Roseville

While the two weekend games were non-conference, Northwestern and St. Scholastica added two more losses to Hamline's overall record of 9-4. -
Pipers sweep at St. Ben’s, defeat Eau Claire for first time since 1990
Posted on September 16, 2008 | No CommentsHamline volleyball swept all four games in the St. Benedict Invite this weekend, putting the team in good position for the upcoming conference season. On Friday, the Pipers defeated both the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the College of St. Benedict.
