The convocation welcomes the 2022-2023 school year

Hamline celebrated the start of another academic year on the Old Main Mall Sept. 1 at the Convocation. Members of the Hamline community including students, faculty and staff convened to experience this event.
The Convocation is hosted to bring everyone together at the beginning of the year.
“We will welcome new members of our community, share some highlights of who we are, and our new undergraduates will matriculate,” an email sent from the Dean of Students office about this event said.
Speakers at this event included President Fayneese Miller; Chaplain Kelly Figueroa-Ray; Board of Trustees Chair Ellen Watters; Interim Provost Andy Rundquist; Hamline Undergraduate Student Congress Co-Presidents Emily Hilderbrand and Maddie Swanson; and Vice President and Dean of Students Patti Kersten.
