My major is philosophy, but I plan to double-major in something else more “practical”, with the end goal of being in law school. I joined the Oracle because I wanted to be able to express myself creatively to an audience and write in a newspaper.
In my freetime, I write and play chess—both of which I have not invested enough in as of late. I’ve been in chess tournaments since I’ve been young, and am in the process of a book’s second draft. Lately, I’ve replaced that freetime with studying, as unfortunate as that is, it’s a kind of necessary.
