Liu Zhenxiong,  Artist and Calligrapher, visited Hamline University on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 11:30 am and 12:40 pm for two discussions and demonstrations for Professor Shannon Cannella’s Beginning Chinese course.  Zhenxiong was accompanied by a translator, Richard W. Bodman, St. Olaf College.  Zhenxiong presented tools he uses and his calligraphy skills which included a poem, while Bodman explained the meaning and the significance of the writing.
