After playing in their greatest season in program history to date, the Hamline Men’s Soccer team is gunning for the postseason.
With the end of the season within sight, the Pipers will just need one more win to guarantee their spot in the MIAC playoffs. As of Oct. 20, the Pipers are the 5th seed in the conference, determined by a three-way tiebreaker between them, Carleton (4th-seed) and Macalester (6th-seed). Behind the pack is Augsburg University on the outside looking in, being only two points behind seeds four through six.
Hamline is set to play Carleton on Monday, Nov. 4 at Bell Field in Northfield, MN. If they win this game, they will go on to play either Gustavus (1st-seed) or St. Olaf (2nd-seed) on Thursday, Nov. 7 at the opposing team’s field. If Hamline then wins that game, they will go on to play in the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 9th.
