Ella Sime, Sports Editor
This is Ella Sime’s (she/her/hers) second year on staff here at The Oracle. Initially starting out as a Sports Reporter, she has now started the 2025-26 academic year as the Sports Editor. Having a strong passion and love for sports, she knew she would fit right in on staff in the sports department. Sime is looking forward to learning more about the world of sports, helping develop a staff of writers to fully showcase their creative aspects and to keep cheering on Hamline athletics.
Sime has lived in Minnesota her entire life in a small town, located about 40 minutes from Hamline. She is in her last semester of her senior year, studying English and Communication Studies with a Minor in Writing, Editing and Publishing. While The Oracle is the only thing she is involved in on campus, she loves to spend her time attending sporting events, watching movies, playing video games like Minecraft and Animal Crossing, or spending quality time with her family, friends, significant other and her dog, Duke.
